Why so angry?

Shiny!

It made me dizzy.

Germany in Chicago

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
So I looked around at the stereotypical German decor and our bratwursts and said to Allie, "At least there isn't any accordian music." That's when the first bars of "Dancing Queen" on the accordian started.

Face Hand

I'm so disappointed in First Avenue right now. We all feel we are to blame or that we could have reacted sooner, but really the bottom line is that the club had no security there to keep drugged up mother fuckers from hurting themselves. I'm damn proud of the Dance Band and of their friends who did what was humanly possible.

Painting

I was working on my portfolio, but I got distracted and decided to photoshop a photo of an old painting of mine.

My roommate looks like the devil

I take no credit for this photo. Alexa set it up and my camera made it weird. I just pushed a button.

What's more real the flowers or the shadow?
Too deep! TOO DEEP, I tell you!
I'm experiencing brain rot.

Urinetown

So I went down to my old college tonight to see their production of Urinetown (the references to Les Mis and the St. Olaf Choir were priceless) . Anyway, I'm feeling a little nostalgia for my years there, so here's a picture of the model of my design of The Seagull from 2003 and then the actual creation. Sometimes I fear that I will never do anything to that scale again.

The beginning

This is not going to be a very wordy blog. I decided that I needed a way to express myself creatively daily, but to not have to put much work into it. That's right, it's called lazy art. I am going to attempt to post one photo per day from my neglected digital camera. I do not consider it cheating to use an older photo or to take a photo of art work that I have made in the past.
I just need to express myself in some way, and I'm not about to start writing.
(and props to Brian for starting his Countdown to 28 that inspired me).
So here goes....
Should the title be:
I'm looking into your soul.
or
Creepy Eye
