During my 2 hour conversation with my brother just now, we both discovered that we have the same unfortunate nickname. Stupid country music.
I also get Johnks, Donkey (thanks alexa), and Jean-kay (with a French accent).

Commuting sucks

I was bored during my 2 1/2 hour train ride home. I hate fickle train schedules.

Spargel aka Albino Asparagus

We recently discovered this place in our neck of the woods. As feared the milkshake was typical for Germany: runny, like foamed milk only cold.
The "nachos" were actually chips and dip that were poured from they're bag or can onto a plate and tasted too salty and just plain nasty.
The burgers however were yummy and I ate so much that I hurt.

I went shopping today for new work clothes. This was also going on in the mall. It looks more interesting than it was.

A Parade!

It's swimming time!

No no...I don't look at all ridiculous...I got prescription goggles, they make me happy. Also the nose plug keeps away the post swimming sinus headaches, but doesn't keep away the odd staring, plus I also knit at the pool.

I learned a new stitch! And I added orange to take away the 80's pain of the teal (believe me it's more teal than the pictures appear).

I've finally found a pattern I could understand. I really do like just kind of inventing my own stuff, but after the fiasco that was my last project (maybe I'll show it to you some day), I really wanted to do something easy but a little different.
