Karnival!

Karnival is coming. I like to think of it as German Halloween. My only experience was 4 years ago at a parade in Heppenheim Germany. Everyone (even the spectators) where wearing costumes. Ice cream bars where being thrown from the floats, and glasses of wine were handed out (Ice cream factory and wine area). Anyway, I'm thinking about attending the same parade this year. I like my ice cream.
So this is from the depths of the theater. I arranged a tour for a group of students from my old college. My old German professor decided that I would translate the tour. Some how my brain has issues going from German to English and the German grammar mixes up my English. I have no idea what I sounded like. But Linda is tuckered out. I spent 10 hours yesterday flipping back and forth and then ended up sleeping the night in 3 hour spurts.

FORKS!

This is a tribute to the MN Fringe Festival play I stage managed last Fall. It's hanging in my kitchen and makes me smile.

My Abode

Well here is the seriously dorky video tour of where I live. Interestingly hearing my own voice isn't too bad. My sister has her own podcast (MarketWatch's Money, Markets, & More), which I've been listening too. I think I sound like a slightly less articulate version of her (do you agree sis?).

12 Years of Filth

Smoking....blech...But at least I'm getting a large sense of fulfillment...It's nice to see a difference after you wash a wall.

Silvester aka New Year's Eve

Fireworks + Heavy Fog = Just a little bit scary.

I'm not used to firecrackers and random people lighting fireworks all over the place so that you were potentially in the line of fire where ever you were. At one point something skimmed by my hat and it was so loud that I was constantly jumping around. I was so surprised that tears came to my eyes. Strange, startling, but oddly enjoyable experience. Oh yeah did I mention the handguns that were shooting firecrackers....shutter...
